Welcome to Maleny and District Dinner - Held yearly in September
The Maleny Blackall Range Lions Club hosted their 14th annual Welcome Dinner at the Maleny Showgrounds on Wednesday the 18th September, 2019.
Due to the COVID-19, this event is suspended until further notice. We suspect it will be cancelled in 2020, so look out for this event again next year...
This annual event is staged to welcome all newcomers to the Maleny and surrounding communities. Newcomers are given an information pack and will have the opportunity to meet other new-comers & locals, local business owners, members of community organisations, local residents, as well as our major sponsors; the Maleny IGA and Sunshine Coast Council

Maleny RunFest - Usually held on the 2nd Sunday in October
We thank all who participated in our 2018 Lions Maleny RunFest (formaly known as the Mountain View Challenge). Incorporating a 21.1 km run, a 10,000 m run, 5,000m run and the 3,000 m Schools Challenge & Family Fun Run/Walk. All proceeds to Lions Childhood Cancer Research and other local community projects.
Due to COVID-19, this event may be suspended in 2020. If so, look out for this event again next year...

There are two major prizes. The Roger Jackson Youth Achievement Award Bursary for the Overall winner and the Roger Jackson Youth Achievement - Public Speaking Bursary.

Maleny Blackall Range Lions Club was awarded Club of the year 2014-2017 three years in a row!

Business Meetings - 5:30 for 6.30pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Uniting Church, 1284-1290 Landsborough Maleny Rd, Maleny
Dinner Meetings - 6.30 for 7:00pm on the 4th Tuesday of each month at The Orangery, Cairncross Corner, Maleny.

Bike Swap Meet BBQ - Held in March each year
The BBQ is a highly successful event and has been held over the last several years. It requires many volunteers and Lions appreciates the input of so many members who make this a wonderful service to the community.
Due to COVID-19, the Bike Swap was cancelled, however, the committee looks forward to another great event in 2021.

Wood Expo Hot Food & Drinks - Held in May each year
Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Wood Expo was cancelled.
The event is held at the Maleny Show-grounds. We thank all our Lions volunteers who make this event both enjoyable and successful.
